New Monster Story!

August 19th, 2010       No Comments

One of the collections we carry for children is a line of books about monsters with matching plush dolls. These monsters are the cutest things you’ll ever see! And each one has a lesson to share with any young friend that opens their bright and colorful book.
Beginning with Nola, the Lonely little monster, the collection has grown to include three other monsters. The newest is called Fuddle, the monster of Confusion.
We are currently carrying 9 Limited edition copies of Fuddle’s story, which include two extra illustrations! (I’ve read the book myself, and it’s my favorite so far!)

So come check it out!

Fairhaven Sidewalk Sale!

September 10th, 2009       No Comments

Hi everyone, with huge apologies for the lack of updates, I will say that I am finally back to work! We wanted to let everyone know that we’ll be participating in Fairhaven’s 1st annual sidewalk sale, coming up on September 19th from 11am - 5pm. We will have lots of wonderful deals, including half off PJ Salvage, and 20% off ALL floor model furniture. Obviously we won’t be moving the furniture to the sidewalk, so come into the store too. Oh, and when I say “sidewalk”, for us that means “alley” - our tent will be outside of our door in McKenzie Alley.

Hope you can join us for a fun event with lots of stellar deals! Also going on Saturday the 19th is the annual Fairhaven Salmon BBQ. Check out “>Fairhaven.com’s event listings for more details.

Paint the Town - Auction

Paint the Town - Auction

July 3rd, 2009       No Comments

Covet is proud to host a very special event in the first-annual Paint the Town. Local artist Ben Mann spent an evening in May with local professionals and politicians, doing a crash-course in painting “Ben style”. Each of these wonderful people, who had varying degrees of worry about attempting to paint, completed an acrylic painting to be auctioned off to support Whatcom Hospice Foundation’s Hospice House building fund. The show opened on the 19th of June during Fairhaven’s gallery walk, and will be hanging in our shop until August 1st.

From now until August 1st, all paintings are up for auction, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Hospice House building fund. KVOS television’s Deb Slater was there to paint in May, and also filmed the painting event for her show, ExperienceNW.
